The Adopt-a-Family program is dedicated to providing joy to those in our community who are most deserving, particularly children. To be eligible for consideration, families must submit a recipient application by the specified deadlines.

Thanksgiving:
Application Deadline: October 30th
Notification of Status: November 15th

Christmas:
Application Deadline: November 30th
Notification of Status: December 15th

However, due to limited funds, not all applicants will be chosen as recipients. Priority is given to families with proven needs based on household size and income. The program provides recipients with gifts and necessities from their individual wish lists. Every effort is made to meet each family's wish list, but fulfilling their "needs" takes precedence over fulfilling "wants." Please refrain from requesting large items such as gaming consoles or electronics.

If you are interested in becoming a recipient of the MK4LUPUS Adopt-a-Family holiday program, complete the application. Families must meet the following qualifications:

Dealing with lupus and Lupus-related diseases.

Live in Kansas City, Missouri, specifically in the following counties: Cass, Jackson, Clay, Platte, and Lafayette, and Allen, Johnson, and Wyandotte in Kansas.

Please note that participation is first-come, first-served. The program is intended for individuals and families dealing with lupus and Lupus-related diseases who are experiencing hardships and would otherwise be unable to celebrate the holidays.
